FAQ
Common questions
How is the saving calculated?
We compare what it costs to manage frontline access the way you do today with the cost of Connect Frontline. That covers setting up, changing and removing access, activating accounts, password resets, locking down sites and reporting on who has access to what, based on your headcount, sites, turnover and apps. Savings on setting up, changing and removing access are based on averages from Connect Frontline customers. Results will vary either way, so use them as a directional figure for a business case rather than a quote.
Does the calculator include the cost associated with a breach?
Yes. Alongside your net saving, your results include an estimate of reduced breach exposure, based on IBM’s figures for the cost of a data breach and the UK Government’s figures on how often breaches cause real harm. We show it separately from your net saving and return, because it reflects reduced risk rather than money you’d see on an invoice.
What if we already use Entra ID or another identity provider?
Connect Frontline works alongside it, not instead of it. Desk-based staff stay on your existing identity provider. Frontline staff without a corporate account get a managed, verified ConnectID, with access granted and removed from your HR record. Both are managed from one place.
How is the platform cost worked out?
Connect Frontline uses volume pricing, so the more users you have, the less you pay per user. The calculator applies pricing for your headcount automatically and includes it in your breakdown. It’s an estimate, not a quote. For a formal quote, or if you have more than 100,000 users, get in touch with our team.
Why do you need my details?
We use them to show your results and email you a copy to share internally, so you don’t need to recalculate. We’ll also use them to contact you about Connect Frontline, in line with our privacy policy.
How long does implementation usually take?
Using our existing HR and workplace platform integrations, most organisations are up and running within 2–4 weeks. If you need a new integration, we’ll build it before go-live, which may extend the timeline.
